I carry a diaper bag for my daughter... But I have been seeing some really cute tote bags around...
Answer
I don't carry a separate bag for myself either, I got given a juju be BFF diaper bag which can be used as a tote, handbag or backpack. It is big enough to fit 3x singlets, 2x tops, 2x pants, 1x jacket, spare socks and shoes, a hat, 4x diapers, wipes, my purse, glasses and a little zip up bag containing lip balm, mints, cell phone. It's very good!
I would rather carry around a tote or backpack with everything I need in it, than have two separate bags to lug around.

I want a diaper bag that is functionable? I would like for it to look like a big purse or even a back pack not sure yet. I going to start looking but dont know where to start. Any suggestions?
Answer
It totally depends on how much you want to spend! For my first baby I used a small sized backpack and just stuffed everything in it, I thought it was pretty functional, though not really big. After my daughter was born a friend of mine gave me a Fluvial bag; they are not cheap($120-$160), however I am a huge fan! There are different styles but they all have the appearance of a purse and are quite stylish. They have an exterior that can be easily wiped down and fabulous pockets inside for everything you would need. I will use mine as a purse even after the kids are needing a diaper bag. Another great one, though still on the pricier side($120-ish), is a Go-GaGa. It is more of a messenger bag, but has an amazing strap that you can spread like a wrap over your shoulder to distribute the weight better. the nice thing is you can usually find these on ebay for cheaper than you can in a shop! If you are looking for a less expensive option try Babies'r'us, they have multitudes of styles and brands for a lot less money! Good luck and have fun!
