Why do I get so hot when i carry a baby?

Hello :)
every time i carry or hold a baby i get 100 degrees and
I just want to get away from the kid, also every kid
i carry or hold weights like a 15 pounds!! heavy!!
I just wanna get him/her away from me...
whats wrong with me?

Babies tend to be little furnaces. My husband also gets sweaty when he holds babies. For me, they are nice little portable heaters, but I run cold.

As for the weight, it's not that heavy, but babies are balanced differently than a backpack or a bag of flour. Plus they squirm more.

If you don't want to hold babies, don't hold them. Or ask the parent if you can hold them for five minutes because you have to go to the bathroom really badly. That way, you can hand them back without feeling pressured. Or just be honest and say "I feel awkward holding your baby. Can I give him back?"

How much do framed baby backpacks support?

I'm looking at getting a metal framed hiking type back pack. What is the upper weight/age limit to these? Here's the one I'm looking at getting. http://eastidaho.craigslist.org/bab/796313648.html Are these too big for toddlers?

they only go to 25 pds. Why don't you look at the ERGO carrier, those metal frames are horrible for you back! The ergo is great and comfy I use it all the time
