Q. hi so my friend drew on my baby blue jansport backpack i just got, and it turned out very messy. im so embarassed to wear it to school :( so any tips how to get rid of the writing? she used an expo marker and some gold marker..not sure if its permanent. so how do i get rid of it?????????????????????

My advice: Skip the home methods, and take your backpack right to the dry cleaners. If you know anything about the brand name and colors of the markers she used, let them know. If possible, bring in the markers themselves so they can test them on scrap material.

Some marks can be cleaned with alcohol, some with acetone, and some with the special high-tech cleaning fluids available to professional cleaners. Go with option C!

I got a backpack with a design and I regretted it. I suggest just getting a plain colored jansport backpack, like baby blue or something. That's what I have and it's my favorite backpack.
