baby diaper backpack reviews image
truecolor
Hi all...I am in my third trimester. I am going to register baby items at Babies r us this weekend. This is my first baby and I am not sure which items and brands should I pick is safe and comfortble for my baby and pricewise reasonable too. Please give me the review about the baby items and items I do need must. Thank you all.
Thank you all ....for sparing your precious time and giving me lots of information in detail. I am new in this country and first time mom. So, not much idea how to choose the right baby items. But your patience and support helped me alot to select the right things for my baby too instead of wasting money. I am going to print out all those information and check out those items in the store. Once again thank you.
Answer
I highly suggest taking a (relatively) new mom with you to register. My sister (who had a 2 year old at the time) went with me to register and she was a HUGE Help.
Here are a few suggestions.
There has been a lot of press recently about car seats so I'm sure you can google which ones are safest. The one that sticks in my head (b/c it's the one we have) is Graco Snug and ride. I would recomend getting a Snap and Go base so that you can turn the carseat into a stoller.
The crib is totally a matter of taste. We chose the Da Vinci Roxanne because I liked that it could transition into a toddler bed and I liked that it had a drawer under it.
If you get a changing table, make sure it has safety straps (so that baby can't roll off it). We choose the Da Vinci Roxanne changing table dresser combo.
Actually.... I still have my list that has prices and brands that I wanted. I can paste it here -- sorry.... it's going to be long.

trying to decide between the the PPB Cake society satchel and cosmopolitan carryall.?
KandCsMomm
I have the Cake Cameo Clutch in Midnight Blackberry. I got it from my husband last year as a birthday gift. I LOVE it my daughter is now 2 and I still use it; now mustly as a purse for myself though. All I need for her in it is a snack a diaper and the wipes case. I am due in Dec. and will deff be getting one of the bigger bags. I'm not sure if I want a colored one (depending on the sex) or if I'll get the black again. I'm just trying to decide between the style though. I dont live near a store that sells the Cake collection so I have to go off reviews/pictures. I will be breastfeeding so i dont need anything to hold bottle/formula. It will be for snack for our 2 YO and then diapers/wipes for the little one, some changes of clothes for the baby and pacifiers ect. ALso I will use it to hold my wallet/keys/chapstick ect as a purse for myself. I prefer the look of the Cosmopolitan Carryall (it looks like an old time Dr. bag) i think that for the $ I will get more use for it later as an acutal purse. And this I would get in black no matter what. I just question this bags ability to keep me organized. It has
Exterior Pockets:
1 Front patch pocket
2 Back easy access pockets
1 Back cell phone pocket
2 Bottle pockets
Zippered changing pad pocket in base of bag
Interior Pockets:
2 Easy reach & grab pockets
2 Bottle pockets
1 Zippered mommy pocket
Interior antique brass key clip
2 carrying options: The straps snap on & off to interchange between the two.
The Society satchel is mote boxey and has an odd handle that makes me question its easy access to get things out quickly. However this one is more "fun" and light looking and I would et it in a color. But due to the design I would NOT use it as a purse; but the backpack option is appealing. Any sugestions?

well if I am going to spend the ammount these bags cost then yes I care that much which is a more functional bag in the long run. And I got the info off the website anyone can do that.
well i dont want a leather one. I dont think it looks like a left over couch I think it is adorable and they are soo exceptionally made; cause like I said I have the clutch for our almost 2 YO. I just dont know which shape is more functional overall.

Honestly, I love them both!! But I like the first more than the second for looks.... and I love those colors. If you want black, then go for black, but I love the blue color in the first picture, and the mocha color in the second one!! And heck, if you have the money to buy one, then go for it girl!! Who cares what everyone says. Everybody has their own personal style. If I had the money right now, i'd buy one too, and my daughter is almost 2 lol. I know when we have another baby, i'm going to get a much more stylish diaper bag!
