Back to School fashion? and Makeup and hair?

Jessica_So

Hi, Im a girl going to grade 10, with dirty blonde hair and green eyes! I want to knoww aht kinds of things are going to be "In" this school year. See i like girly/vintage/cute clothes and want to knwow aht to buy. Alsow hat kind of back pack and shoes. Even in my comfyest clothes, I still want to look fashionable!

How to wear my make up?
what about hair style ideas?

Answer
Youtube is key, baby.
Youtube gurus will keep you up to date, plus videos are fun to watch!
By watching makeup videos, haul videos, or even fashion videos.. you can get the concept!
On youtube, there are specific back to school makeup and fashion videos.
Some beauty gurus I recomend are:
-meganheartsmakeup
-beyondbeautystar
-the youngandclueless (they just made a haul video)
-juicystar07
-allthatglitters21
- bubzbeauty
- ahanhbarbie
-beautyxxgoddess
- saamage
- daheeyum
AND MUCH MORE.
i highly reccomend watching videos because its summer, you have nothing to do and they really help you stay trendy
I know loads of gurus and watch tons of videos so Im gonna give you some advice from my own experience.
Fashion Trends that are In:
- tribal trends (you can find these at forver21)
- florals! (shirts, dresses, skirts)
- rompers. super cute.
- skinny jeans. DUH.
- the color coral.
-gladiator shoes, sandals.
- off the shoulder shirts. MAJOR TREND.
- try buying loose cute shirts and then adding waist belts.
- ACCESSORIES ARE IMPORTANT. bracelots, necklaces, hats.
- Go to Forever21.com and click "NEW" ... you can see new things that are "in"
and you can look at the outfits they have on the site and get inspired.
Backpack:
dont carry a bakcpack. TOTE BAGS ARE GOOD. try getting aeropostle bags, abrecrombie, hollister, or american eagle bags.
F21, Pacsun, Charlotte Ruse, Wet Seal, have pretty BIG bags that will hold your books
Comfy Clothes:
skinny jeans, distressed jeans, with just plain branded shirts.
or sweats. alot of girls wear sweats.
Makeup:
the youtube videos will help.
try neutral makeup.. golds, browns, whites
You can search up videos of how to make green eyes pop.

I need some serious room help!?

Emma

My room is a fashion DON'T EVEN GO THERE. It's light purple, has pretty stencils on top that are kinda nice. But then I have a BIG vanity that's too big for my room, a paisley chair that doesn't have any purple in it, a book shelf with two shelves and picture books on it (I tried to get rid of them but my mom said I had to keep them there because there's no space for them anywhere else), another small mirror that's hideous, a closet that has 4 shelves (two of them consisting of all my mom's craft stuff squished together, and two of them for all my clothes, a very small space for my dresses, coats, and sweat shirts, a single bed that I don't even fit in, an old vintage painting that was cool but is now just out of place, a violn, two backpacks, two more shelves filled with random junk, and a newspaper sprawled out on the floor. And to top it all off, it's about a 15 by 10 foot room including the closet that takes up 10 feet of it. It's WAY smaller then it sounds. It's more like a janitor's closet.

the biggest problems are that the walls are a baby color, my bed is too small, and i don't have room for my stuff. No, I can't get a better room right now. They're all taken. I was thinking, if I repaint the walls, get rid of the vanity, put shelves on the walls for my books and some of my junk, and kick my mom out of my closet, maybe it'd be better... HELP!!!!!!!!!

Answer
I'm sorry that you are having this problem! :( but i hope this helps: (i have a small room too)
okay, so maybe if you get rid of some stuff then you can get a full bed! Maybe you can put all of your mom's craft stuff in those plastic bins that you can put under your bed to make more room in the closet if she doesn't let you kick her out of your closet. hehe. get rid of the vanity, and maybe (if you have enough room then you can get a small desk and put a mirror sitting on top of it so it can be both, or maybe if you have enough room you can put a small dresser to have more room for your clothes. I think putting up shelves sounds like a great idea, but try to make sure they aren't overly cluttered. the trick to making a small room seem bigger, is to use light colored paint, and then brighter accessories and to try to keep stuff off the floor. So throw away the newspaper on the floor (if you have read it already) and maybe you can get one of those over the door hooks for your closet to provide extra space and you can put your 2 backpacks there. (if you don't like or don't use one than maybe you should give it away). go through everything in your room to reduce the amount of junk, and maybe for one of the shelves, or in the bookcase then get some of those storage bins to hide the clutter. I hope i helped and good luck!

help with some poems? please?

emily

I got a plain, vintage, canvas mail bag for my backpack. its from the army store in my city, and so it hopefully wont fall apart like my other bags.

anyway, I am COVERING it in quotes, and some fabric paint. I want to put an acrostic poem on the inside flap. but I cant think of any, right now! and I cant find any online!

I really would appreciate your suggestions.

if you could think of one for
school, love, wolves, or emma, that would be awesome!

thanks! serioes answers only, please
um, guys, I have my heart set on an acrostic poem. and those were not acrostic poems, but they were nice.
an acrostic poem is something like

Sweet
Adorable
Rare
And
Honest

something like that. but my name is not Sarah. I need an acrostic poem for either school, love, wolves, emma, or pack. thanks!

p.s. acrostic poems are not tacky! I would rather put something that defines me, and the things I like, than come across as really smart, when people ask about the meaningless (to me) words on this inside of my bag.

lol, malcom. I cant put "hotter than poo" on my school bag
school starts on the third, and I am going into grade 8. it has to be appropriate, especially because my school is k-9, and I want to set a good example. its bad enough I wear ripped jeans, and tons of jewellery! I know it doesn't sound bad, but I the kids in my grade are super inappropriate, and I want to set me and my friends apart from them, show them the right way to behave; and that we are not all swearing, low riding jerks.

so basically, I want it to be appropriate, but also show that I am proud of who I am; a teenage girl, with tons of friends, who all love to laugh, and don't care about popularity.

sorry, if this doesn't make sense:(
thanks!
weird
outstanding
loving
family

proud
accepting
caring
kind

could I do something like this?
I put "sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast". thanks anyways

Answer
"It's been a long two years I can't change the past I've shed so many tears can't believe I've lasted this long"

"This is not what it is only baby scars I need your love like a boy needs his mothers side"

"Darling you'll be okay"

"love like a tidal wave"

"I still remember the night you tried to kiss me through the window."

"A million kissed underwater as we walk into the ocean."

"we bleed like water colors and drunken pastels down the stairways"

"The boy on the blue moon dreams of sun"

"Maybe you can't handle yourself staring at me with your lips and tongue"

"Tonight I'll make you feel beautiful once again"

"hail mary forgive me blood for blood, hearts beating"

"What's so good about picking up the pieces?"

"there is a beast in my heart and he won't let you leave alive"

"kerosene hearts carry the name that my father gave me and take the face of the wolf"

"my love for you was bulletproof but youre the one who shot me"

"I wanna hold your hand so tight im gonna break my wrist"

"Cold, empty mattresses and falling stars My, how they start to look the same"

i don't like to wear the tudung...because ALL my friends didn't wear it...besides, i can't wear baby tees and mini skirts anymore when i go out...it all began when i hit puberty...i feel miserable now...i'm 14, hit puberty on 11....it's been 3 years...i feel like want to cry now...please help...i'm too young...beside, i'll promise that i'll wear it when i'm married...but if i don't wear the tudung now, my parents and sisters will scold me...please help...
it's a religion thingy where women must not show their hair after they had gotten puberty...

Answer
Option one: respect your family's wishes and buy the coolest scarves you can find. There realy are some great ones out there, I know. Match your outfits. Buy some extras to share with your friends--they can tie 'em on their backpacks or around their necks or wear them like a turban. Start a trend. Rock the tudung like it's... like it's whatever fourteen year olds all wish they wearing these days. Prada backpacks?

Option two: telll them no. Be firm, firm, firm. Tell them no. Tell them you respect their wishes and your religion, but you are not ready. A hard road, but, at your age, your perrogative.

Option three: compromise. Can you cover your hair in a less conspicuous way? Maybe a smaller scarf or wear your hair tied up? Maybe something vintage, like a snood. A snood, btw, is a crocheted hairnet thing women wore over the backs of their long hair in the 1930s and 40s. Very glamorous.

Good luck.
