I'm 14 and want a baby?

linsey

I'm 14 years old and I've always wanted a baby . Ever since I was little I've always loved babies . I know I'm just a baby myself but its driving me crazy . But I'm not even into doing anything sexual , I think sex 'making love' should not occur until after marriage . I've been having 'baby fever' I know I want to go through with high-school and I want to go to beauty school after but I just can't stop thinking about how much I want a baby . I've been having dreams and I've been daydreaming about it for the past month . I used to not want kids because I was scared about how much it would hurt or how big I would get but ever since the dream I had last night I feel like it's all totally worth it . I really want a baby. What do I do to get over this baby fever ? I don't want to have a baby this young it'll ruin my life and my parents trust towards me . I just need to know how to get it off of my mind . Please help me

Answer
My young one I will help you. The best way to get over wanting a baby is to keep thinking about it! Crazy I know, but there is a reason for my madness.
Baby's are not cheap, at all. Once you have a child you will have it for the rest of your life.
Now being 14 years old and the summary of your question shows that you are a very bright person. But I can tell you now that this is a great age to start doing things that will make having a child in the future better.

One. During High School continue to save any allowance or gift money starting now. Make two saving funds, one for your Beauty School, the second for your wedding.

Two. When in High School concentrate on your studies. If you school offers the classes take a Child Development and Cosmetology or a form of it that they might offer.

Three. When your the right age around 16 look for a job. This will bring in income that will help with savings. At this time you can start saving for the baby along with your other two savings.

Now that these three things have been said on to the list.
The list are important item's and other things that you and the future baby will need.
I have a personal list here that I will share with you.

Nice list huh? Mind you this is just my list, to give you an idea, though feel free to look things up.
Now we move on to other things.
Doing research on questions you might have now for babies is best done looking up sites that are for baby development. Things to look up include Hospital's and Insurance.
Also ask yourself questions.
First off what do you think about Marriage? Personally I find no shame at all by saying that I'm not looking for dates I'm looking for the man who will be my husband one day. Best bet wait till you 16 plus before that. Or that you prefer to be courted which mean's you want a relationship that will lead to marriage.
Also ask yourself about other things, such as, where do you want to live in the future, what are my current goals and dreams, how does wanting a baby effect my life now?
And last things that should be done long before one has a child at all.
Being Debt free.
Married, secure jobs.
Safe living place.
Both mine and my future life partners needs, not wants, are met.
Be in good health, mind, body, and spirit.
Be safe not sorry.

Baby Registry Help PLEASE?

Torie

I am starting my registry for my first baby and I have registered at Target and Babies R Us and I have a few questions. First, should I put the same items on both registries? Next, I am having a rather large baby shower (50 guests) because we both have large families so I want to put enough items on my list but I'm not sure if I should ask for things that baby will need months after she is born like a potty chair, teethers, stuffed animals, etc. I feel like I should just register for the really important stuff that I will need for when the baby first comes home and I can slowly buy that kind of stuff later down the line as I need it. I'm going off the check list babies r us gave, but I am only like half way done and already have like 70 things on my list! Also, I heard that a lot of people don't even buy things off your registry and just buy whatever they feel you need, and in that case I don't know why I'm wasting my time doing research trying to find out what is the best, trying to get things that will match the nursery, and how much of what I need if they aren't even gonna look at it! Sorry if I seem edgy I have just been working on this for a few days now off and on and I'm getting very frustrated.

Answer
First of do you know what you are having?
If you don't then make a long list of neutral baby clothes for the summer that's coming up. Also make sure you ask for doubles or more of everything, and get many of clothing items in larger sizes. Make sure just in case to get a few Preemie baby clothes just in case.

Also I would also like to recommend both http://www.diapers.com/ , and http://www.babyearth.com/ . For registry. I don't like the Target selection, and what ever these sites don't have Babies R Us might have extras or back ups.

Also here is a list I came up with, with a few helpful item idea's.
