im a sophmore in highschool and the 7th grade wasnt long ago.

Clothing- those name brand won;t make you stuck up. They are very in for fashion tips go to seventeen.com and teenvogue.com

Backpacks- I would get a jansport or use a purse( a cotton sack or desinger bag) to carry your books in

Makeup- Try buying different makeup like covergirl, MAC, sephora,revlon,etc.. and spend a day trying different makeup looks . Also go to youtube and search for make up tutorials.

friends- Be yourself no matter what even the loser have friends.

Drama- Don't share txt nude pics, Try not to gossip so much., Dont worry about what people say and brush them off, because they are not worth it.

boys- just flirt with them, but don't be sluty, because then your too easy.

Personality- you should go for the hollister prep rock loving girl

Trust me the seventh grade in not a big deal, the 8th grade is.
