I'm not new to hiking because I've been hiking now for about four years. However, I've never need backpacking, while its kind of the same terms as camping I've only ever been camping may be twice in my life and it was years ago. So I'm going to be going backpacking through the Sierras in California and I just needed a little bit of help figuring out what are some good, easy, filling recipes for dinner to cook for a group of about four whether it's from a fellow backpacker, camper, or someone who knows what to cook out in the wilderness everyone's answer is greatly appreciated.

I am taking my wife and younger kids on a trips this week - here are some of the meals
Spaghetti and (Non-meat)meatballs (Home dehyrated sauce) Salad from home (first night meal)
Instant humus(fantastic foods) in pitas, baby carrots, & olives. Carob browies - Yum!
Black beans and rice (zaterans) home dehydrated corn
Fantasic foods refried beans burrito skins, mountain house salsa,
Simple lunches for the trrail like wasa bread with almond butter,and dried fruit, 1 Dark chocolate bar split 4 ways
Or peanut butter crackers(lance brand on whole wheat) Slinced cucumbers and carrot sticks,
Witha little thought you cna avoid costly comercial dehydrated products and use easy to get grocery store items. For example (if you are not in a grizzly area) consider foil packed tuna with a couple of condement packs of mayo for tuna salad. Add some flat bread and sprouts and you are all set for lunch.
Depending on your trip planning the more you take the more you enjoy the camping aspect but the less you take the more you enjoy the hiking - consider well

First of all, Congratulations on your newborn!!!
These are the criteria on getting a stroller.
Ask yourself these,
1) Are you and your partner have an active lifestyle?
Do you intend to jog around with baby in tow?
2) Do you drive?
3) Is $$$$ an issue or do you have a fixed budget to invest on a good stroller?
I'm gonna suggest something extravagant and stylish yet conventional for a couple, you can check out this website
